day thirteen and fourteen: mum and grass

That's an odd combination.  So the Internet (and TV) at our house was down for two days.  That's a long time in a house that very much relies on technology daily.  However, we did enjoy a quiet night last night after the kids went to bed.  We might have to do that more often.  Anyway - back to the challenge at hand.  MUM  - I am going to go ahead and make an educated guess that this is referring to my mum and not the flower.  It being mother's day and all.  Some of the clearest memories of when I felt closest to my mom was when I was becoming a mom myself.  I remember her kind and inspiring words.  After the babies were here, she talked me through long nights, tough days, and even if she didn't know the answer, was at least there to process it.  I think that I am a pretty good mom.  Sure we have rough times, when I wonder what in the world I was thinking, but overall, I am raising some pretty good kids. I can't imagine being as successful if it weren't for my mom.  She has always been patient, forgiving, always challenged me and never let me settle for second best.  Mom, thanks for being a fabulous.  Here are a pictures of her holding her newest grand babies on their first days of life.

And now for day fourteen: Grass...I have already given you all my take on grass.  But thought I would at least capture that really cool grass I was talking about here.  So here it is...
