Some friends of mine asked if I could come and take pictures at their sons baseball games. I said sure. That's not one I have tried before. But I realized that I really like taking action shots. I like capturing moments when they are not staged. The first time I went, the game was called before it even got started because of storms. The next time I went, I was able to snap some great shots, they got through three innings, and the game was called because of storms. Hopefully it wasn't me bringing the rain. I really enjoyed spending time with these boys. I loved watching their enthusiasm, their frustrations, their passion, their encouragement of one another, and their ability to still be little boys. I easily got caught up in the game, sometimes forgetting to take pictures, and often cheering just as loud as the parents. So to all you Lyndon Cubs parents out there, thanks for letting me be small part of your season!!
