Autumn Checklist: Carve a Pumpkin

As October comes to a close, I look back and think, this was a pretty good month.  Summer truly faded into fall.  Cool days balanced by warm ones.  We picked pumpkins and apples.  We celebrated a ton of birthdays. Ella learned to ride her bike without training wheels and today, she really "got" it.  Riding all over the place with no help at all.  It really is a milestone and one that reminds me that this little girl really is not all that little anymore.  We played with friends, got back into making yummy soups and chili.  And today, we finally carved the pumpkins.  Tomorrow is Halloween, and then November.  My how time flies.
